FPD Email w/attachment

A recent prior thread got we wondering if anyone has a suggestion for my dilemma
I used FPD 2.5 for a personal work database and need nothing better. My problem is I can no longer email from within the program under XP WHEN I try to include an attachemnt. I have used POSTIE in the win98 os, no problems. I tried that program and a number of command line email programs. I cant get any to work from FPD under XP. The recent thread suggested Blat, I tried it. Works fine until I add the -attach switch. Then I get an illegal operation

There are three attach switches
have you tried them all?
Did you run a debug with blat to see what might be going on?
