FP2002 Extremely Slow Folder Access

I have updated from FP2000 to FP2002. Prior to the update I did not experience any problems with file folder access. Now with FP2002 when I try to select a different folder I my wait from 20 seconds on up. I am experiencing the same slowness on my laptop (win2kPro) as I am with my desktop (win2kServer). Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
