When site is viewed in IE then there are no issues.
Issue exists in Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla 1.6, Netscape 6.2.1
When visiting the site you get a long vertical listing of the images.
I realize that there are some pieces of JS code that do not like certain browers. I was hoping for a direction where I could find the JS code that would assist in making this cross browser compatible, if the JS code to produce the slide show effect exists.

unfortunately there isn't much you can do about this unless you are an absolute wizard with JS. There are some great scripts for galleries rather than using FP Gallery.

Getting into a totally new thread on browser compatibility - I now only consider making my sites fully browser compatible only if the customer absolutely insists on it. My reason for this is that I have monitored the number of visitors to my sites that uses non 'Internet Explorer' browsers.
I average 100,000 visitors to my sites/month and my stats show that IE (versions 4.x and up) is used by over 97% of them.
