Has anyone been successful in creating an office chart with an ODBC link to an external database? I'm confused by the dialogue box that is used to setup the database in that on one text box they are asking for a connection and on the other they want user data. Can't I simply create a sql and use the connection option that I previously specified? I too simply assume that you would use the short name for the connection to the ODBC DSN. Any and all help would be appreciated.
