FP 2002 hangs system when trying to publish

Please help, FP 2002 is locking up when I try to publish a page. It says I am out of virtual memory but I have over 100MB allocated. Should I reinstall? Thanks,

best suggestion I can make (because there are probably loads of reasons) is try the Microsoft knowledge base -

http://www.support.microsoft.com

It's pretty good normally for resolving issues such as this

Just thought I'd let you know that my system administrator solved the problem by deleting the following folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\[User's Name]\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
