hy,
I woul like that foxuser.dbf & foxuser.fpt not to be created anymore by my application. I don't need them.
I wrote:
SET RESOURCE OFF
in main program but it didn't help.
How can I stop it's creation?
Regards

As I go deeper the road seems to go further. We're just simply pasangers on the road of knowledge.

VFP menu > Options > File Locations > Resource File > Modify... > Uncheck 'Use resource file'

This will ensure that as you develop your applications the FOXUSER.dbf will not be monitoring and saving form positions etc.

If your application has no need of a FOXUSER.dbf at runtime, put RESOURCE = OFF in your config.fpw and ensure FOXUSER.dbf is not included in the distribution.

If you use commands such as MODI FILE or MODI MEMO within your applications, then I would ensure RESOURCE = ON is in your config.fpw in order to 'memorize' those window positions.
