I would like to know more about programming Foxpro with windows API's. What is the best resource to do this with. I have some, but they don't do an adequate job of explaining the whole thing. What are the steps in a nutshell. <br>

I am working on a project that does serial port sharing with a "smart box". Windows however has plans for the serial port of its own. There is a serial printer, and it causes the spooler to fill up. How do I check to see that the printer is done to get access to the port for other devices that share it(can't use another port).This is best handled by using a windows api call to check to see if the com port is busy.
