I am running Windows98 on a Fujitsu laptop with no printer ports. I have a Belkin printer interface connected to a USB port which works fine with all my Windows programs. THE PROBLEM is that I am running Dos based software for an accouting application i.e., Foxpro2 and it does not recognize a USBLPT1 port. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fool the system into thinking that the USB port is really an LPTl or know of any hardware which would create a printer port? On any my other computers with a physical printer port everything works fine.
