FoxPro window stays on top 1

My VFP 7.0 application's window behaves correctly when the application starts, but then sometimes starts to display the following behaviour:
When you select another (non VFP) running application from the taskbar the window appears to expand up to full screen in the normal way - then the VFP application appears on top. This means that to switch to another application it is neccesssary to minimise the VFP application first - very irritating for my users.
Any suggestions as to cause and cure?

Check _screen. method.

Are you running SP 1? According to the SP 1 Readme file, one thing that was fixed was "Visual FoxPro IDE or runtime application behaves as if AlwaysOnTop".

I have installed SP1 made a new setup disk and reinstalled to all users! Hopefully no more grumbles.

Is there anything buggy about SP1? Since there's nothing just now I *have* to have fixed, I haven't gone to the trouble of downloading it. I just don't want to download it and then have it break something.

While I've seen people complain about what wasn't included in SP 1, I haven't yet seen a confirmed "new" problem with SP 1. I believe this is a definite "no brainer" update.

I have had some problems in development where a 'normal' debugging type error can cause you to exit out of the ide with no warning. No new wierd stuff at run time though. Just save alot when testing new code from the IDE.
