Question, I have a program that opens multiple tables (15+ using browse last no wait) in a work area. The question I have is does anyone know why my thirteenth table opens up without its previous structure/form… all other tables open with their previous structure/form (they all open with same size and location and they remember any column changes and or resizes…) except for the thirteenth table… it opens like it has never been opened before and requires additional sizing and placement for viewing with the other tables. Is this a FoxPro superstition? Thanks for your thoughts.

That table has Triskaidekaphobia.

Sorry, I don't think anybody can see that far from here, what's happening on your PC. The usual assumption, as you talk about BROWSE windows is, your foxuser.dbf is the culprit.

Use Sys(2005) and see what is stored for the table in question.

Bye, Olaf.

Most likely, it's getting a generated alias for some reason. Assign the alias you want and the configuration should be remembered (after the first time).

The statement of the problem is a little vague. You don't open a table "using browse". How do you open the table? Is it really all in one work area?

I did bump into a bug where repeatedly opening the same set of tables in multiple directories would eventually open a table with no alias at all, but that required hundreds of iterations. Not (15+).

I suspect Tamar's suggestion is closest to the mark.

Added my own alias to that table and now it repeatedly opens as I need it to. Thanks for the suggestions!
