foxpro odbc field length

Hi all
If I use the foxpro odbc version 6 I can only see character fields upto a maximum of 244 characters. Is there any way of extending this so that if a field is 600 characters long then this displays in full

You need to force the cursor to make that field a memo/varchar field by padding the return. VFP SQL column width is determined by the 1st records returned.

SELECT PADR(MyField,600) From MyCA
