Hi all!
I have been surfing a lot to find a solution to this problem and I see that maybe here is the only place that I can find that solution.

The problem:
I have an application that update, insert and delete data from a Free Table Directory of .dbf tables (foxprox 2.x, I think is 2.0). It works well doing that but when I try to see the data INSERTED by my application from the foxpro application I can't, it seems that the index is not been updated or used, I have been looking for this in some sites, but the lastest odbc driver that I use (6.1.8629.1) seems that doesn't work with the indexes.

Do somebody now how to work around this with my odbc, or maybe some other solution?

I can't change anything from the other propietary foxpro application.

TIA.
Rocael.

Rocael, Does foxprox 2.x support CDX index files?
If not, your problem may be that the .IDX (or .NDX) index files are not being updated becuase they are "active" during your ODBC INSERTs. Can you possibly run these after your ODBC updating:

SET INDEX TO indexfile
REINDEX

while in a foxpro session?

I know this may not help that much. I work with FoxPro a fair bit. What might help is that you upgrade to Visual FoxPro (5.0, 6.0...) and convert the IDX index files to a CDX index file. The CDX file may get updated from the ODBC session....
