foxpro memo fields don't show in report

using cr8.5 and rather than using a text field the db devs used a memo field. i cannot figure out a way to get the text to show in a report. none are longer than 150 chars so not limited by the 254 thing.

any suggestions?

A shame you didn't bother to share your Fox version.

The fields won't show up in the formula editor, but you should be able to select them and display them.

When using the ODBC connection, and if you need to use a memo in a formula, you might try a SQL Expression from within Crystal.

BTW, here's the syntax for a SQL Expression:

{fn convert("mymemofield",SQL_CHAR)} where "memofield" is the field you need.
