Foxpro for DOS to FPW in Win2K and font problems

I have a system written in Foxpro 2.6 for DOS and running in Win2k. But I wanted to add a report that has different font sizes so I converted the whole system to FoxPro 2.6 for Windows.

Q1) Does anyone foresee any problems with FPW running in Win2k?

FoxPro for DOS is counting by characters so running @ 6,40 get m.ctry_code picture "@!" message "Enter Country Code or Enter Blank to Select" ; code was okay there. But the "get" shows in a different positions in FPW.

Q2) How do I set the get statement to show in exactly the same as my field in the screen?

Q3) What ruler/grid should I set to in order to get the same effect as FoxPro for DOS?

Q4) What font should I should so that the height and the width of the font is exactly the same in FPW for each alphabet?

Try using the FONT "Fixedsys" , 14
Don't know if it's available in FPW2.6 but was in VFP3.
By the way does anyone know what happened to that font in VFP6 or is
there any equivilant for emulation of 640x480 resolution?

Q1) If you search the Forum for W2K you'll find the issues and solutions (2 or 3 of them). You will probably need the fast processor patches, and I think there was an issue with "Files=... " in the config.sys. Otherwise you should be okay.

Q2) The font "FoxFont" - which ships with FPW - is the one you need for compatibility with FPD screens.

Q4) I don't understand Q4. Each "alphabet" ??

Charlie: FixedSys is part of Windows, not FoxPro, so it should still be there under any version. In VFP 6 I also have "FoxPro Window Font"
