Foxpro DOS Free Download

BTW, I have purchased every version of Fox, since the Foxbase days. I only kept my Foxprol version and now need to get this version to work on my XDA. I need to try probably previous versions.

Just like all the other Foxpro products, FPD is not free. It really has the same copyright/licensing as the FPW versions. You may be able to buy a copy though.

But I don't believe you'll have any luck getting it to run under Pocket PC.

Hi Dave

Thanks for the reply. The only reason I asked about the DOS version for Foxpro was that so much DOS software appears to be free. I am running DOS on a PDA, Pocketdos.com. Looks like I might have to give up on the idea. I managed to get it to work on all previous PDA's. This one is proving more of a challenge.

Regards

Chris

Several years ago I tried to buy an upgrade from FPD 2.5 to 2.6 from M$, and their response was that it was possible but I had to first upgrade to VFP (current version), then downgrade to FPD 2.6. The translation was that I would end up paying hundreds of dollars for a small DOS upgrade, which was ludicrous to the point of being comical.

You can check Ebay, as DOS versions pop up there from time to time, but the sources I've seen on the Web ask a fortune for legal disks.

If you ever figure out how to get FPD working on a Windows CE-based PDA, I'd like to know. I tried loading PocketDOS once, but FPD wouldn't work either with FOXPRO.EXE or FOXPROX.EXE.
