I have a .dbf file and a .fpt file. I can create a DSN to the .dbf only, but all the data I need to get to is in the .fpt. Both of theses files are exported from a Qualcomm application and sitting on a server that does not have FoxPro installed. How do I get to the .fpt file? I am reasonably savvy in ASP, but obviously I know NOTHING about FoxPro--ANY and all help is greatly appreciated.

Hi niceguythom,

If you'll post this in the VFP forum, I guarantee you'll get a better response. forum333

FYI - The dbf file is a table. The fpt file houses the memo contents of the table. Therefore, the presence of the fpt file, indicates that one of the fields in the table is defined as either a memo or a general field type. Jon Hawkins
