I am new to programming and am eager to assist my fellow programmers in solving this problem. My department is running into a problem with foxpro 2.6 getting hung up at random. We can not determine why it is getting locked but we know that the file foxw2600.esl is the file that is in the infinite loop. We have downloaded the divide by zero patch and it does not solve the problem. We are running windows NT on the workstations and foxw2600.esl is the file that is using 99% of the CPU time(an infinite loop). In the department there are 11 individuals that use the program, and only 3 are getting hung up. Could this possibly be in a keystroke the user is performing or perhaps in the lines to the computers? Any information would help... I am desparate! This has gone on for months now and we can't solve the issue. Normally the program just locks up but occasionally the user is displayed an error. The error that the user see is an application error window diplaying the following: FOXPROW caused a General Protection Fault in module <unknown> 0427:BDBAF|||FOXPROW will close. I appreciate any information or help available.
