foxpro 2.6 for windows on windows 8 tablet

I finally bit the bullet and am in the process of converting an app I wrote in FoxPro 2.x to VFP 9.
Why the delay? Because it was doing its job and people were productive using it. But I finally talked to the higher-ups and convinced them to let me do it.
And it has been worth the trouble.
You didn't specify whether your app was the Windows or the DOS version, and I'm guessing the DOS version will have a ton more issues with touch screen interface than the Windows version, but maybe the time has come to just get rid of the old technology and rewrite it in a newer version.
Like 'they' say, "Just let it go, man."
