Hello - we are running Foxplus in an SCO Unix environment. Recently we added a receipt printer in one of our store outlets and there is a banner that prints at the end of every print job sent to this printer. We do not see this behavior on any other printer. Does anyone know if turning off banners in SCO Unix will impact printing through Foxplus? Thanks.

Found the problem in Unix in the /etc/default/lpd file.

This file contained the statement "BANNERS=1" and we changed that to "BANNERS=0".

No more problem with the banner printing, and extra blank pages that have been printing after other print jobs (on other printers) are no longer printing.

The problem was not linked to Foxplus at all - looks like it was strictly Unix system file.

Many thanks to everyone for the help!

Margaret

Glad to hear you found a solution. That's great!
Sorry couldn't be of any use on this one.
