Is there an NTP or a flow chart out there that shows Fowarding priority on a Norstar CIC or MIC? I am looking for a way to kepp the Call forwarding priorities straight in my mind as fara set call forward busy or RNA versus Hunting vs Hunt groups. When I install a CP100 or a flash, it take a bit of thought to keep the call forwarding stright so that Hunt groups or other forwarding work properly without messing up overflow hunt groups and wind up with someone's voicemail box becoming full of messages that were meant for someone else. there is no flowchart... all there is to know ...hunt groups will follow the hunt group programming as long as the hunt group lines do not appear/ or ring on any of the hunt group phones..if you overflow to a set it will follow the set fna/hta... overflow to the same group if need be this will keep phones ringing and no vm msg....hunt works on busy forward works on rings

So if I have all users on a MICS owning a mailbox with the BUSY and RNA set to forward to the Voicemail after 4 rings, and I have a hunt group set up for Braodcast to 5 of these phones and overflowing to the same hunt group, A user's voicemail box will not pick up when the CCR routes the caller to this hunt group? (hopefully I have made this clear enought to understand.)

I know with the standard voicemail programming for users, you would set the RNA to about 4 rings and the busy forward to go to the fist voicemail port. However when you add users to hunt groups defined within the MICS system programming to a hunt group and the voicemail CCR tree points incoming callers to this group by dialing 1 or 2 or whatever...., the RNA and Busy programmming will not let these calls go to voicemail unless I program the overflow for that hunt group to go to a particular station?, then the RNA and Busy will be enforced?

Sorry for the crystal clear explanation (ha ha), but this is tough to explain. I am sure plenty of veterans out there are familiar with the scenario above.

yes it is just as i said ..as long as no incooming lines that are assigned to hunt group are assigned to the HG sets it will follow the HG programming..if you want it to go to a mbox search forum for that programming if you just want it to ring have it hunt to the same HG
