Hi, I'm new to visual Foxpro programming. I am working on a Helpdesk program and presently have a data entry form with a parent and a child(grid). I want to assign a four digit (0001) unique number to the jobid field when add new is clicked. How do I begin to do this. I'm used to Access where it gives it an autonumber. Can anybody help me?
