Found some news over at RootPrompt (<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> about a new web site that aims to offer downloadable ISO (CDRom) images of the major Linux distributions.

The site is LinuxISO.Org at <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> and there's also an FTP site at ftp://ftp.linuxiso.org

I've not done a lot of checking (yet) but the home page has the following distros listed:

Debian
LinuxPPC
Slakware
TurboLinux
Redhat
Corel
SuSE
Mandrake
Caldera

There's also a bundle of tools for burning ISO images onto CD, and a link to the CD Writing Howto.

Hope this helps.
