Is there a way to forward a local user's mail (such as root) to a POP3 account. I am able to send mail to POP3 accounts using the command line (that is what I am used to). The basic issue is I do not like logging in as root except when it is necassaary and I want any email that is sent to my root account to get forwarded to a POP3 account on a different network (like a Hotmail Account). I am using Sendmail 8.11 on a Redhat 7 Server. Any ideas is appreciated.

Never mind.... I had a brain fart and it has been a long day. I forgot about the .forward file :)
