Forwarding to VM on no answer

Hello all,

I just started at a new company and they are running a KX-TD1232 connected to a KX-TVS100.

Currently when an external caller calls, the Operator answers the call and transfers it to a persons extension. If that person is not there, the call will ring back to the operator after several rings and she will then transfer them to voicemail.

I am curious to know if there is a way to ring the users extension and then automatically go to voicemail if they don't answer?

This is also the case after hours. The Auto Attendant picks up and if the caller enters the users extension, it goes straight to voicemail. I would like to see that also ring the extension firs and then go to Voice Mail if there is no answer.

Any help or advise would be appreciated.

 
Busy or no answer ( handset rrings 4 times before going to VM)
To Set
lift the handset dial 7105 +(vm ext number)+ #

to cancle
lift handset dial 7100

all calls (handset does not ring )

lift handset dial 7102+ VM Ext Number+#
to cancle 7100

both commands can be placed on a spare button if required

My suggestion is you download the user guides, and the Feature Manual. In them you'll see where you set DoNotDisturb, Fwd/Bsy/NoAns, FWD all Calls, and so on.

On a display phone it's easier since you can see what your doing.

Also in the Programmator Software, Under the extensions settings, you can remotely setup all the forwarding options for all the phones at your PC. Then, all they need to do is make sure that little red light is on (the FWD/DND button).
