I have a situation, our old vendor set up remote call forwarding for some DID's to our Estate agents cell phones. I can't find how they did it as it looks like they didn't use Forward no answer , dest code then phone number. Any clues ??
It can be set up by the carrier and checked on your equipment records. Specified Incoming DID calls never get to the switch at all and does a RCR or RCF I believe - Remote Call Redirect or Remote Call Forward of that DID number.
RCR
We have some essential DID numbers assigned, that in the event of a PBX failure and the PBX cannot answer or route to the extension, the number is redirected to a different analog single line phone (not on the PBX but on it's own dedicated line.)
RCF
Assigns the DID to Call Forward to a different number regardless of the PBX status.

You can forward manually by using F4, destination code + phone number. The extension must have "Allow redirect" set to Y. This can also be programmed to a feature button.
Read the FAQ's tab on how to do an external forward.
As for a phone not presence I do the same by using the R.A.D. as well.
4.1 software or up
Build a route and dest code.
Allow redirect under the set
Program the target to a phone or RAD
Do the redirection using F84, press Line From, and Line To (Dest code plus #)
No. You advised "I can't find how they did it" If it was not visible within the switch programming (Line Redirect) I advised that it could also be set up at the carrier for individual DID's within that range.
