Is there a way to forward the operator ext to another ext?

Yep, Just touch Feature, Dial 33 and then the Extension number you want it to go to.

To UNFORWARD, do the same thing, but dial the OPERATOR's extension number.

OF course, having a button programmed makes it easier, and you can know the status of the Forwarding.

I have tried this, but the extension will not forward. The system just beeps, and the forward disappears from the display

If the "operator phone" is configured as a QCC console, there is NO call forwarding available for this type of position. It would have to be reconfigured as a DLC console in order to use the Call Forwarding feature.

You might post a print of the station of note for us to see.

....JIM....

That would be correct.

Yet another reason to NOT use the QCC Option unless it is ABSOLUTELY NEEDED!

I am sure when he does post a print of it, we will find it to be a QCC.

If you don't need it to be a QCC, then switch it to the DLC mode.

Of course, that takes some re-training of the operator.

But, if they want that feature, that is the ONLY way to go.
