Forwarding straight to voicemail

I need step by step instructions to transfer a call straight to voicemail on a CS1000 running with Callpilot. Can anyone help?

More info is needed. Is this a pyhsical phone or are you trying to forward a number ( no phone ) direct to CP?

They are physical phones. We are a school system and they want to be able to transfer calls for teachers during the day straight to their voicemails without interrupting classroom instruction.

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

You would need to transfer the caller to the Express Messaging DN and stay on line and put in the mailbox # for the caller and then hit transfer again, so

mailbox #
transfer

The other thing you can do and something I have done in the past is to build a Scheduled Access restriction and you can program this to block incoming calls during a specified period. It works well. Programmed in LD 88 and then you have to assign the SGRP to the phone.
