Forwarding Problem

We are running GroupWise 5.2 with all the service packs current on a Netware 4.2 server. Recently, when some users receive forwarded mail, from within our system or from another system, they get blown right out of GroupWise when they try to open, view or save the forward. There is no error message, the GroupWise client just closes. Repeated tries with the same mail net the same results. Other users can read the same message just fine. Removing and reinstalling the client doesn't help. Any clues?
