Hi,
We have a very odd situation which needs to be resolved.
A user on our network needs all their exchange email forwarded to an external POP3 mail account. I have set up a contact in Active Directory, and made the setting in the users account to forward exchange email to the external contact. This works fine.
However, the exchange account receives external POP3 email from our ISP. This email does not seem to be being forwarded. The external address only receives exchange email originating from users within our network.
If user1 is the account with this problem, the example is as follows:
If user2@domain.uk.com sends an email to user1@domain.uk.com it will arrive at user1 exchange mailbox and be forwarded to the external contact.
If employee@external.co.uk sends an email to user1@domain.uk.com, exchange will collect it from our ISP's pop3 account and deliver it to the exchange mailbox. It is NOT sent to the external contact - and this is the problem I need resolved!.
Any help would be gratefully received.
