Hello all,

I started with a new employer a few months back and we have an Avaya system in place using Audix for voicemail.
I used to administer a Nortel system so am somewhat familiar with things I've been seeing on our system. However,
I'm still a newb with this system so please bear with me. :) I worked with our support group to get me a login
to our Avaya Aura communication manager. I was able to correct a few things on my set such as the MWI not lighting
up when a new message was left. My set didn't have a forward button programmed so found the Send All feature listed
and put that on. I am looking to forward calls to voicemail using this but it's not working. Back on Nortel, I
could put in the extension of the call pilot voicemail system in the forwarding but it seems a bit different here.
When I dial the extension to reach the voicemail system, it works but when programming the Send All to use this
extension, it says the extension is assigned to an object other than a station. Is it not possible to forward
calls to voicemail this way?

when you hit send all calls it looks to the coverage path programmed on page 1 of the station form, so find this number and then display coverage path 1 for example and voicemail should be 1 of the points in the coverage path, so if point 1 says h99 then display hunt group 99 to make sure that is the messaging hunt group, 99 was just an example.

When you say "when programming the Send All to use this
extension" are you trying to enter the vm # in ASA field after the send call button? If so try leaving blank and as joe2938 already mentioned it will follow the coverage path.

Ddog, that was easy, it worked after removing it.

Thanks both of you.

Todd
