I am wondering if there is a way of forwarding a DN that does not need to appear anywhere as such. Like a phantom number. This DN is required to divert calls externally straight away without appearing or ringing anywhere on the BCM. I am not sure if this is possible?

There are many ways: First of all, are you calling the phantom number from external or internal? When calling from external you may use the line redirection feature on the target line (does only work for calls coming from external). When calling from internal there are 2 ways i know. destination codes or h323 phantoms.
1. With dest. codes: First renumber the dn you want use to something else (like 999). Then create a route and enter the external number in the "external #" field. create a dest. code with the phantom dn and tell it to use the route you've just created.

2. with h323 phantom (requires a free ip client license but can be used for internal and external calls)
Create a new H323 Terminal under "IP Telephony -> IP Terminals -> H323 Terminals". Shortly after creation you can see it under "Active DNs". Now you're able to enter a call forward target on that DN. If you also want to redirect ext. calls assign a target line to that DN.
