I am having an issue using VM pro for Distribution lists since upgrading from 2.0 to 2.1.15 IP office and 2.1.5 VM pro.

If the message length is more than 1:30 it shuts the VM system down. I have checked the Max message length and it is set for 120.. So that shouldn't be and issue...
My configs for the sites has changed... only thing I have done is upgrade to 2.1..
Does anyone else Forward messages to mutiple users and have 10 or more users in theirs list... Have you had an issue with this?
I have ticket open with Avaya but, wanted to see if anyone has this issue..
any help is always appreciated.

Read all posts in this list concerning V2.1(15)!
DO NOT USE V2.1(15)!
upgrade to V2.1(27) & VM Pro V2.1.14
these versions do still have a few bugs but they are of a relativly minor nature.

I did upgrade to 2.1.25 IP Office and Vm pro 2.1.14.. Problem still exists.
And these minor bugs you speak of have a major impact on customers that user features affected by these bugs.

I agree even a minor bug can be a problem, fortunatly the V2.1.27 bugs that I am aware of are rarley used, and workarounds are available top avoid affecting thouse customers

Ihave not had the problem with the distribution mailbox, if this is a bug in the current release I would certainly clasify it as serious (even if it is unlikley to affect many sites).

Avaya are currently trialing another Main release of V2.1 core software & VM Pro, so hopehully your problem will be resolved quickly

Have you tried running the wizard to clear out any errors you may have due to config changes....I have found this to be very helpful in resolving things that happen for no apparent reason. Also, you may want to check that you have enough ports on the VM to support it.

I rebuilt VM from scratch so, I do not think any errors.. and I did use the wizzard to verify.. Also the licence is for unlimited Vm ports.
Avaya has come back and advised that it may be a bug with the length of the message sent out.. they are testing to verify.

Yes, that happen to me and upgrading the software resolve the problem with validating the license. I was running 2.0 and after upgrading the 2.1(24), which was the lately release at the time fixed the problem
