Hello-
We need to setup a forward on somebody’s email account, although it’s not a simple forward. Typically when we need to forward we configure the forward by going to ADUC and adding a recipient under delivery options. This time we have a few more requirements and the typical scenario won’t work.
We need to forward one of our executive’s emails to his assistant, although the messages should only be forwarded if the message was sent from our domain. Also, we don’t want messages to forward to the assistant if they originated from other executives. And finally we want the message to arrive in the assistant’s mailbox unaltered; we don’t want it to appear as a forwarded message from the executive’s account.
Most of the requirements can be taken care of through a server-side rule, although unfortunately the messages are literally being forwarded and they don’t appear to come from the original sender.
Any ideas?
Thanks-
