I am implementing an W2K exchange server. What I would like to do is run the qmail server as well as the exchange server while I move users over to exchange. So some users will be on Exchange, some on Qmail. I have added "| forward "$LOCAL@192.168.10.1" to the .qmail-default. 192.168.10.1 being the exchange server. This should forward any unrecognized usernames to the exchange server. This all seems to work with the exception if I send an email from my hotmail account to let's say jane.doe@domain.com I get a return error saying "Remote host said: 550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for jane.doe@192.168.10.1". I take it Qmail is substituting jane.doe@domain.com to jane.doe@192.168.10.1. Any suggestions?
