forwarding messages to another user

Hi, I hope you can help. We (the IT staff) have just been told to forward a user's email address to their immediate supervisor (apparently they have been canned), but we (the IT staff) don't know much of anything about Exchange as the person who set it up and supervises us was in a bad car accident. I was wondering if anyone could give a good quick newbie tutorial as I have much more faith in the words of wisdom found here than in half the stuff I encounter on the wider web. Thanks much.

another question, i guess the natural follow up, though i doubt there is really a nice solution: how do we get someone access to the existing messages in the mailbox? i am thinking the easiest, brute force method is to use the users id and a password that we set to access the mailbox and then forward each message. hopefully there is a more efficient method though.
