Forwarding Manually to offsite tech ACS 6.0

The receptionist wants to be able to transfer calls to an offsite technician and then be able to hang up and the other 2 parties stay on the line with each other. Is this possible?
 
only if you - either transfer to an extension that is remote forwarded
or - do a centrex transfer on the line by doing a Feature 03 on the line and then dial the number and hang up

I know I have atleast 2 customers that I was able to accomplish this forwarding without using remote call forwarding, but I have forgotten how to do it.. Let me try the Feature 03 and then the number at the receptionist phone.
 
Feature 03 does a hook flash on the line and then you should get the second dial tone from the line provider, if you don't get the second dial tone then they are not subscribing to the feature.
