When i go on vacation i would like to forward my incoming mail to another lotus notes user on the same network in the office, is this possible and what are the steps to doing it? Is there a filter capability if the mail can be forwarded so that junk mail is not sent out? Please help! Thanks.

You can make an agent to run after new mail arrives. Then you can set the actions for what you want to do. Forwarding to another address is an option. I'm sure you could write in some type of formula to ignore certain messages (those containing "get rich quick" or the like).

You will need appropriate permissions to run a personal agent.

Also, in the person doc, there is a section named Forwarding Address. You can put your colleagues address in here and as well as you receiving the mail, they will too. But like RachelD says, an agent would be best to filter out improper emails. Lamaar75@hotmail.com

Sorry Lamaar75, but that's incorrect. If they fill in the 'Forwarding Address' field, mail is only forwarded,it is not stored in the original mail file.
