Forwarding Huntgroup

Hi,

I am trying to forward the calls of a huntgroup to an external number. I tried to do this by creating another group with only one extension on it. This ext. was forwarded unconditionally to the external number (the "forward huntgroup calls" was checked). The first group was put in out of service mode and the second group was designated as the destination for the first group's calls. It didn't work. Is there another way to forward a group's calls to an outside number? The system is a 406 v2 release 3.2.57.

I have only the following choices. Group, Linear, Circular, Most Idle.

Linear is Hunt.
And ensure forward hunt group call is enabled with in the forwarding options of the users.

OK. I changed the ring pattern to Linear and it worked. Thanks to all
