2 ip offices connected by H323 trunks.
The main office (site A) has a hunt group with 8 members.
When 1 member does not come to work they would like to forward that persons hunt group calls to someone in the second office (Site B).
In the forwarding tab forwarding unconditional, forward hunt group calls, and forward internal calls are all checked.
If they call the extension directly it forwards to the right phone at site B.
But hunt group calls do not.
I made a new hunt group with 1 member and I can make it forward to an extension at main site but not site B.
In system status the 323 trunk is flashing like it is trying to connect, but is does not.
System is 4.1 (9)
Thanks in advance.

forward hunt group calls only works for Sequential & Rotory Groups.

a Better solution would be for the user at site b to be a member of the group but have the phone out of group untill needed.

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

I always give users in a hunt group a button to login/logout of the hunt group (Action: HuntGroup Enable).

That way in your case the only thing someone would have to do is press this button on the users phone who isn't coming to work and on the users phone at site B who is taking over for him.

2 things I should have put in my thread:
Tried Sequential, still did not work.
The extension number in site B is 6000, but in site A there is no 6000, only short code 6xxx going to 323 trunks

Isn't being a member of a remote hunt group an SCN feature? From your description it sounds like you're only using IP lines.

I have dreamed a dream, but now that dream has gone from me.

Have you thought about using mobile twinning?
If a user won't show up for work activate mobile twinning for him and enter the number of the user in site B (remember to check "Hunt Group Calls Eligible for Mobile Twinning") for the user in site A.

4.1 required licences for twinning, and if it's a 500 chassis then you need voice networking licences for H323 trunks, if it's a 406/412 it will not let you emulate SCN features like distributed groups without an SCN licence :)
