In a previous post I was having a problem forwarding e-mail from
SCO to exchange. That problem is solved. I am now trying to setup the exchange server to forward mail to the unix box. In exchange admin I set the internet mail connecter, routing tab to forward all mail addressed to the subdomain stand.stanpak.com and then put an entry in the hosts file on the nt server for stand.stanpak.com
x.x.x.x stand.stanpak.com.

I thought this simple approach would just work and send the mail to the Unix box, all of the mail is immediataly rejected by the exchange server with a host unknown error.
Am I going about this the wrong way? Has anyone gotten something similar to work using, Exchange 5.5 and MMDF on the Unix Box.

Thanks
