One of my users is getting moved to a new office and would like to have his extension forwarded to his cell phone while construction is finished. He was using an old analog phone. Is it possible to have his calls forwarded to his cell?

I know with the digital phones you have an option on the phone itself but was wondering if its possible to do this for analog phones through the PBX.

YES, I BELIEVE THE CODE IS #1 THEN THE NUMBER. YOU MAY HAVE TO PUT CFXA IN THE CLS

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

I don't know much about how this works but you can explain what you mean by "the code is #1".

I'm assuming I will have to program this. Can you show me a step by step of how this will work?

you will need to check the how many digits is set to call fwd

ld 20
req prt
type tnb
cust x
tn x x x x

look at the cfw prompt it needs to be set at least to 11
and as mentioned cfxa in the cls

once you have CLS set with CFXA, HTA, FNA

Take the analog set off hook - so you have dialtone

Hit # 1 on keypad

enter number you want to forward to

hangup

In ld 57 print your flexible feature codes. The default for call forward is #1. The set need to be programmed for CFXA in the CLS and under FTR you need to have CFW 12 or however many digits they need to dial.

To activate the feature from the set Dial #1 plus the number as you would dial it for example #195551212

Prt the TNB of that phone and post here.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Here is the PRT of the TNB:

Ok I typed out:

ITEM CLS CFXA

ITEM FTR CFW 11

When I do a PRT now it reads out:

I noticed that CFXA and FTR CFW 11 was added.

Hitting 1 does not seem to work.

How do I get my SRPE code? Acewarlock said to do a DNB 1 but I didn't see anything.

1 is your spree.

put a butt sett on the analog line and go off hook. Press #1 than dial the number you want the line forwarded (don't forget to enter 9 or whatever you use to grab an outside line) wait 2 seconds and hang up. Call the analog line and see if it is forwarded. if not try this procedure again. For some reason it seems like it make takea me two times for it two work.

It shows:
SPRE 1

So it is 1.

Here we have to dial 9 to access an outside line. So do I have to hit 1 and 9 xxx xxx xxx? Will have I have to change the CFW to 12?

I pick up the handset and 1...

-then I've tried hitting 9 and 1 909 xxx xxxx but before I can finish I just get a disconnected tone

-then I hit 9 and dial number without 1 and area code but still get disconnected tone before I can finish.

# equals pound sign not number so hit # in the instructions above
