Hi there,

I'm trying to forward all calls to my ip phone to my phone at home. I use CallForwardAll on my 7960 with CallManager 3.3 and a Cisco 1760.

This works fine when calling from another ip phone. I am forwarded to my home phone and can talk.

When an external caller calls my ip phone, he is forwarded to my home phone. But when I pick up at home, I hear nothing and the callers phone keeps ringing as if I never picked up the phone. I tried with 2 mobile phones.

Maybe anyone has a clue?

Thank you,

Thomas Liss

sounds like you may have a signally problem with PRI.. when you hang up dialed phone do you still hear ring on other end... That almost 99 percent of time indicates PRI problems. Are you MGCP or H323 to CCM?

Thanks for your answer.

We don't use PRI, we have BRI (ISDN) in Germany.
When we hang up the dialed phone, the call is terminated. Same when caller hangs up. We are H323 to CCM.

Best,

Thomas Liss

both use the SAME signalling scheme!!!!!
even in germany.. if you are on a h323 gateway this is definatly your problem....

Sorry, I am not very experienced in this.

If it is a signaling problem, does that mean a problem with the codec?

Thanks,

Thomas Liss

I've seen the same issue when using a 3725 with an Euro ISDN PRI configuration, only with me the call is not setup to the second external party at all.

What I've found out is that if I change the CSS on the Call-fowards from <none> to another one it works fine.
