How do you forward Email in Exchange 2000 to an external Email address? I have tried using the Exchange options for the users in active directory but when I type in the address that I want to forward the mail to it says that this address cannot be found or that the address is missing from the global address list.

Any help would be greatfully recieved.

Guys,

Ive got the exact same problem as kevstar..exchange 2000, mailbox wanting to forward to external email - cannot find in global address list - because it can only see our internal email system!

All help is welcome!
 
You have to setup a contact in AD U/C first. Dan

I have the same problem.

What is AD U/C and how do you set-up a contact in it??
(I worked out the Active Directory part!!!)

Create an account
Right Click - Exchange Tasks - Establish e-mail address Dan
