Hi,

I have been asked to set up forwarding on a number of Exchange 2010 mailboxes. The mailboxes to be "forwarded to" include to an Exchange 2003 server within the company but in another domain, Hotmail and G-mail addresses. However when I go into the “Mailflow Settings”, select “Delivery Options” and then the “Forward To” setting it will not let me type in an e-mail address buy only allows me to “browse” and select an e-mail address on the 2010 server. I assume there must be way around this but a Goggle through the come up with nothing so far! So how do I do it?

Thanks and regards,

YoungCodger…

You need to create an external contact in your AD domain with the external email address, then you can browse and select that contact.
