We are looking to setup an auto attendant at one of our locations (location 1) with an option to forward calls for a certain department to another location (location 2)which also has a PBX with an auto attendant.
If the caller is calling a toll free number to reach location 1 and then the auto attendant option that they select at location 1 forwards them to an outside toll free phone number for location 2, will the caller be tying up ports on both systems?
Also, will the caller be costing us minutes on both toll free numbers for the duration of the call, or does it disconnect from the first number once the pbx transfers the call to the 2nd location?
