Not a Nortel Meridian specific question, but is it possible to have a 1-800 forward to two different numbers at the same time? For example, we have a 1-800 number that the phone company forwards to our comapny's service line. We have two different, remote locations each with a service team that can answer these calls. Ideally, a customer can call the 800 number and this would forward to both locations, and the next available person at either location could answer the call. It would not matter if the forward was in parallel or done sequentially.

I believe you can do something like this with Linx (if you're not familar with them, they're basically an outsourced MIPCD provider), but can the phone company do this as well? All the addtional features are not required, just the forwarding.

TIA

There are a lot of routing packages out there. We use AT&T 'RouteIt!', but that is done as an allocation of a percentage of calls between different centers. It doesn't ring at both locations at once. We also have an Aspect system and can share calls between mutiple centers via an Inter-queue that we can set to available agent or wide open.
