Forwarded Call Voicemail

I noticed today that if a call is forwarded (FDA or FDN) to extension two, but then not answered at the extension 2, it goes back to extension one's voicemail.
I was wondering if it was possible to have the call follow the rules of the second extension (example: FDA to voicemail), such that the second extension is where the voicemail will be left?
We have an IPS2000 with dterm series I phones. Thank you everyone!

I'm pretty sure it's not possible.

When the call gets handed off to vm there is also a Message Center Interface message from the pbx that tells vm what number the caller originally dialed regardless of how many different extensions it has rang at.
