I have a helpdesk line that we need to forward to an external Service at set times. It is a two way trunk. I have a three part question. How do I make it so that it forwards to this service after a set number of rings. Second and third questions would be how can I schedule this to occur at set times, and if we cannot schedule it, can I make it so that there is a simple on/off procedure that would not require a privileged user to execute it?

Thanks

Thomas

The trunk will need to be pulled out of any pool that it may be in, put on one or more phones as a "private line", and one extension made the principal user. That station need to be allowed trunk to trunk transfer and remote forwarding. Then all you do is forward that station to "9-[External Telephone Number]-#", and the calls will follow. This assumes that you still have other lines in pools, and are using ARS for all other calls.

Depending on the release, you can change the number of rings before it forwards under the Extensions menu of SPM.

It is not in any pools, and it on many phones as a "private line". Is there a way to easily schedual this to happen? Could I put it as an automated transfer within a night service auto attendant?
