Forward to voice mail issue.

When calling internally to extensions if the person doesn't answer the call will roll to their voice mail box. When calling in externally the caller can select a person from the voice mail tree if no answer at the extension it forwards back to the phone tree. I would like the callers to forward to the voice mail box not back to the tree.

System has 7.1 release with caller ID and a NAM for voice mail I believe it is 4.0 release.

You have the recall timer shorter than call forward to voice mail timer.

Thanks for the help. I looked thru the manuals and didn't find any information about the recall timers or FWD to voice mail timer. Do you mean number of rings?
I thought I knew these systems pretty good I guess not.

Look for TRANSFER CALL BACK.
