Is it possible to transfer all incoming calls to a certain extension to a cell phone?

One of our guys is almost never in the office. His extension (31) needs to be transferred to his cell if at all possible.

Merlin Legend. WinSPM 7...

I have very little Merlin knowledge, so treat me as very new :)

You must enable remote forward for the extension.

Then give trunk to trunk transfer rights.

Change extension ars restrict to 4.

These instructions are from the console or standard spm.
User must turn on call forwarding at extension. Remember to put a 9 in front of number if used to pick up outgoing line.

Remember that this call will use 2 trunks. The inbound and one picked to call forward with. Both trunks will be unavailable for the duration of the call.

last part of my question

this is an analog extension

the phone is a generic $5 Walmart analog phone

how do they turn on call forwarding? There isn't a button for that, so I'm assuming it's a keycode of somesort?

Also, assume the cell phone# to transfer to is 817-xxx-xxxx, where would that be entered? When the user turns on call forwarding from their desk via a kecode?

in the SPM menu somewhere?

Try lifting the handset and dial

*33 9(for outside line if enabled) 817-xxx-xxxx

I think you should hear some kind of confirmation tone, but not sure.

Then hang up and test!
 
Press # at the end of the outside telephone number to signal the end. You will hear a confirmation tone (a double break in the dial tone, then the dial tone is removed.)

To cancel the call forwarding on those occasions when your salesman is in the office, dial #33 and his own extension number.
